Training for Parents
Training attendance is limited to enrolled parents who have attended a Project 1.27 orientation, submitted committment forms and paid the program fee of $100.
FOSTER ADOPT CORE TRAINING (FACT)
Foster Adopt Core Training (FACT) meets the core competencies outlined in the Colorado Department of Human Services Child Welfare Practice Handbook. FACT is taught by experienced instructors in a church setting with a Christian perspective.
PROJECT 1.27 CORE TRAINING (P Core)
Project 1.27 Core (PCORE) is a unique Biblically-based training that complements the competencies outlined in the Colorado Department of Human Services Child Welfare Practice Handbook. Taught by pastors, professionals and Project 1.27 adoptive parent alumni in a church setting with a Christian perspective.
SUPPORT TEAM TRAINING
CPR and FIRST AID
All foster and adoptive parents must be certified in CPR and First Aid, including skills for infants and children. Parents should inform the trainer that they are becoming certified for foster care.

Moving Forward
If you are an enrolled Project 1.27 family (you have attended Orientation, completed the Commitment Forms and paid the $100 fee), email our Office Administrator for scheduled training dates.
