Training
Project 1.27 strives to provide exceptional training from a Christian perspective to potential adoptive and foster parents, support teams and church partners.
Parent training is only for enrolled Project 1.27 families. All other training is open to the public.
ORIENTATION
Orientation is for potential Adoptive and Foster Families and Support Team members. This is the first 2 hours of required training and all parents must attended before applying to Project 1.27. See the Orientation tab for details.
APPLICATION
Following Orientation, parents who wish to move forward with Project 1.27 need to complete the Commitment forms provided at Orientation and pay a $100 Administrative fee. This is the only fee paid to Project 1.27 and allows access to forms, training, and support.
PARENT TRAINING
Project 1.27 provides 28 hours of training including Foster Adoption Core Training (FACT) , Project 1.27 Core Training (PCore), and Support Team Training (STT). All training is biblically based and developed to prepare parents for a successful placement and parenting experience.
