Project 1.27 Brings the Church to the County
Project 1.27 has invested several years in developing relationships with many of the 64 counties in Colorado. We are honored that our current county partners have put a great amount of trust in our team and our highly qualified families. In addition, churches trust us and we walk together to the county to offer what the county can not.
1) New Qualified Families
2) Community Support for those Families
We recruit qualified families and support them with their own church community. These families are prepared with all of the counties training requirements, they have a completed adoption packet, they have an established support system and they know what they are getting into. This all occurs before the family even steps through the county door. A contract between a Colorado County and Project 1.27 Adoptions is very simple but the results are amazing.
1) Allow Project 1.27 to conduct required adoption orientations in a church.
2) Allow Project 1.27 to administer all required adoptive family training in a church. NOTE: This training is conducted by our state certified instructors.
3) Accept the Project 1.27 Certified Adoption Application.
NOTE: This application packet meets and exceeds all state and county requirements
4) Counties still conduct home studies, child matching, placement and finalizations.
In essence, all the counties have to do with the family is do the background check, home study and certification if they so chose. In addition, Project 1.27 helps out with conflicts and other various issues as necessary. This all relieves a lot of pressure from the counties and makes the parents feel cared for and ultimately successful. We know that together a Project 1.27 County partnership benefits everyone, especially the kids.
