Project 1.27 and Church based Adoption Ministry
The church is the foundation of the Project 1.27 model. We empower and equip church leaders to support adoptive and fostering parents and to become an indispensable part of its’ community.
Project 1.27 Church Partners agree to the following:
- The Apostle’s Creed
- Preach Adoption
- Have an appointed Adoption Representative
- Present and advertise Project 1.27′s opportunities from the pulpit
- Have an Adoption Ministry tab on their web site
- Host Project 1.27 events like orientations, training and parties
- Pastors may conduct Spiritual Interviews of prospective adoptive families
- Financially support the mission of Project 1.27
In return Project 1.27 provides these churches with:
- Resources of all Project 1.27 partners around the state
- Contracts and privileges with state and counties of Colorado
- Professional training
- Advocacy for families with counties
- Administrative support
This allows churches to focus on ministering to their families while Project 1.27 does all of the organization and management.
